Privacy Policy
Nico's Autobody respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who is responsible
Nico Runkowsky is accountable for Nico's Autobody's compliance with PIPEDA and for all personal information we handle. Questions, requests or concerns about your personal information go directly to him: info@nicos-autobody.com or (204) 392-7799.
What this website collects
This website does not use its own cookies, analytics or tracking, and does not store anything you type. The estimate form only opens your own e-mail app with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you press send in your e-mail app.
Google Maps
The map in the contact section is provided by Google LLC. It is only loaded after you click "Load map". From that moment, your browser connects to Google's servers, which may be located outside Canada, and Google receives data such as your IP address and may set cookies. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you don't load the map, no data is sent to Google.
Information you send us
When you e-mail or call us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, vehicle information, insurance claim number and photos. We use this information only to answer your request, prepare an estimate and repair your vehicle. We do not sell or share it with anyone, except your insurance company when you ask us to work with them.
Hosting
Like any website, our web host automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit in server logs. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and running. Our web host is Spaceship; the server is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, so this data is stored outside Canada.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at info@nicos-autobody.com or (204) 392-7799. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
